What is GEO?+
Generative engine optimization, or GEO, helps AI assistants find, understand and cite useful information from your website.
Will blocking AI training bots affect AI visibility?+
It depends on the provider and crawler. VisibleGen offers separate presets where providers distinguish search from training. Review each bot before changing access; robots.txt depends on crawler compliance and cannot guarantee inclusion in AI answers.
Does llms.txt guarantee AI citations?+
No. VisibleGen creates a readable summary of public content, but AI services decide whether to use it. Google does not require llms.txt or special AI markup for AI Overviews or AI Mode.
Is VisibleGen a free WordPress SEO plugin?+
Version 0.2.1 includes 21 free features across SEO, GEO, schema, social previews, sitemaps, redirects and switching tools. These features run on your site without a VisibleGen account or usage limits. The WordPress.org release is marked coming soon on this page.
Can I switch from another SEO plugin?+
Yes. VisibleGen can import settings from supported SEO plugins. Safe mode also keeps VisibleGen out of the way while another SEO plugin is active.
Does the content analysis send my content anywhere?+
No. Content analysis runs in your browser. Your draft is not sent to VisibleGen for analysis.
Does it work with WooCommerce?+
Yes. VisibleGen supports SEO fields for products and WooCommerce Product structured data, including price, stock, SKU, GTIN, brand and reviews.
